Profile information is never given out or made visible to anyone except us and you, and we only use it to help identify you should the need arise (like you lose your email and therefore your ability to login). At this time, we do not use your information for electronic newsletters, marketing communications, or other communications related to other products or services offered by us. To protect and rate-limit the Site and for fraud prevention and diagnostics, we store the network IP address of your client and the date and time of your visit. osbn.io does not however use any cookies except for a single session ID cookie which is used only to store your logged in status. osbn.io does not use any third party sites (ie. When you register your book and publisher information with osbn.io this information is stored on osbn.io’s bibliographic database. By doing so you consent to the presentation of data to osbn.io customers (booksellers, publishers, libraries and other data users for the purpose of promotion and sale of books and other published media) of our database via a range of osbn.io services.
We ask that you not send us, and you not disclose to us any sensitive personal information (e.g., information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, criminal background or trade union membership) on or through the Site or otherwise.
